Honey was found abandoned when she was just a tiny puppy. Our shelter took her in and she was adopted within two weeks. She now lives with a large family, who are beyond happy to have added a new member.
Lady, a four-year old labrador retriever, was tossed out of a car and abandoned. She broke her leg. Luckily, she was able to be treated and she walks and runs like new with her brand-new family of 4 (Lady inlcuded).
Tofu, a young cat, was found in a dumpster by a garbage truck driver. He was very thirsty and malnourished. After he was nursed back to health, he was adopted by the man that found him. "He's my best friend." Said his new owner the day he adopted him.
One of our own staff found Iris on the side of the road. She was missing an eye, her paw was bleeding, and her tail was gone. Despite being a small kitten, she persevered through the treatments and is now living with a happy couple.
